LAVENDER ICE CREAM!

The coolest creation after my Poppy ice cream, i'd say!

This recipe was completely made from scratch, inspired by the blooming lavender on our balcony. The taste of these tiny blossoms is surprisingly strong, and the vanilla adds the perfect sweet hint. If you are not sure about the intensity of the "blossom" flavour, just change the ratio of lavender and vanilla a little.

For a bit more colour, you could add a handful of blueberries or raspberries.

Ingredients

3 large ripe bananas
around 1 tbsp dried culinary lavender blossoms
1/2 tsp pure vanilla powder

fresh lavender blossoms to garnish

also:
- a high-speed blender or food processor (NO NEED FOR AN ICE CREAM MAKER!)

Instructions

Place frozen banana pieces in a food processor or high-speed blender, blend until just creamy, then add your lavender blossoms - i'm using the ones from our balcony that have dried naturally due to sun exposure - and your vanilla powder and blend everything together until it is fully broken down into a creamy mass. Fill your Vanilla Lavender ice cream into a bowl and spoon it right away before it melts away or anybody else gets their hands on it! :)

Note: This is part of my raw vegan Ice Cream Galore this month!
